5 out of 5 stars Revere Tea Kettle   November 10, 2008
This is exactly what I was looking for. It's a good size, and has a GREAT whistle! I've tried other (cutesy) tea kettles, but I came back to Revere.

5 out of 5 stars This is the one to get.   October 31, 2008
Great teapot! My family has used these for 30+ years. Everything else either burns your hands or plain sucks.

5 out of 5 stars Best Teakettle around   October 24, 2008
There may be prettier or more decorative teakettles, but none is so durable, useful and long lasting as the Revere Copper Bottom Teakettle. I had to replace my old one only because it disappeared during a move. This kettle heats quickly, has a great handle, and a permanently attached whistle, which won't get lost.
Nevermore will you forget and burn up your teakettle on the stove.

This will be my second Revere kettle. A houseguest left the first on an open flame and didn't hear the whistle...
That is about the only way to destroy this item. My parents had the same one as long as I could remember and I had the first one well over 15 years. I have tried others, Copco and the uplift kettle from OXO. I liked the OXO but it was only a 2 quart capacity.
Nothing beats the Revere.

4 out of 5 stars Revere Warw teakettle   October 5, 2008
I ordered this for a friend. She specifically wanted this brand and size to replace one she had for many years. The bottom plate seemed a little thin to me, but she was thrilled to get exactly what she wanted.
